This here is a concept for the cover of a brochure-type-document to promote caché condos. Basically it's a cover made of of 2 pages (there's no back cover shown here, which will likely be just grey keys). The top page has a diecut of a keyhole in the center revealing the red key underneath (AKA, revealing the hidden style of this new project, which is also where the name comes from). I've also tried a variety of ways to spruce up the underpage. I'm personally for the streetmap style one (thin likes that intersect each other) and the one to the right of it (Towers along bottom). But I really want your opinions.

Please comment on this one for me, cause' I would like to hear what you have to say,
Matt

heh, looks good, that's kinda funny thought I did a die cut aswell :P great mind think alike. I like the key idea. I'm not too keen on the rounded tube ish things coming up out of the bottom. What age group are you marketting to?
20-30
I'm probably going with the streetmap like one.
Matt,
The campaign seems a little bright, bubbly, and round (typeface) to actually be caché. Things that are somewhat hidden or slightly out of reach usually have more mystique implying a much darker palette. This aesthetic might work well for a modern development going in on main street targeted at a young buyer but then I would say the name is not right. If you go higher end and add mystique, possibly through the use of black and shadowy b/w photography, make sure the key hole is sophisticated and doesn’t look to heavy handed.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Don.
Thanks Don (If you actually read this again)
I do agree, and my original top logo (just realized I didn't post my first round of renders) was much more like you said. However I also feel like the definition caché is a little more open now, because what immediately what comes to mind is cache (us internet era kids pretty much ignore accents now). So I think I was hoping to combine the modern-web style implied by cache while still taking the literal definition from caché.
What's due for this week is to complete a page of logo revisions (posted below this already), as well as the cover, back cover and 2 spreads. I think I am going to do both, and get some opinions from some people (I don't want to say 'in my target market,' because if I go with the more mystique like style It'd probably go up in age a bit.
Thanks again, your comments will definitely influence my process.
Matt
